Choose fights for their value, not only because the gauge is full

A monster's health and attack indicate whether the fight is safe, but its experience, gold, region, and drops determine whether the encounter is worth an Adventure Point. Early in a run, experience can unlock important stat growth. Later, a specific equipment drop or reliable gold income may matter more than raw experience.
Level ranges describe the enemy as it appears in its active zones. They are not a guarantee that two encounters will produce identical numbers. When a route begins taking too many turns per battle, compare the enemy's attack with your survival stats and consider returning with stronger gear rather than spending the rest of the run on inefficient fights.
Normal and Hard Mode
Hard Mode enemies are separate, stronger versions intended for later progression. Their increased stats make damage races less forgiving, so equipment balance matters more. A build with excellent attack but weak survivability may clear normal enemies quickly and still fail when a Hard Mode enemy survives the opening turns.
Use the tabs to compare modes, then open an enemy for exact locations and drop chances. Drop percentages are independent opportunities; a listed chance does not guarantee an item within a small number of battles. Route decisions should account for the Adventure Points spent while farming.
Farm an enemy when you can win consistently, the desired reward improves your current plan, and the remaining Adventure Points still leave a realistic path to the boss.
